Mixing the Medicine

What a day. Had another photo shoot for Vain Style featuring down/puffy bubble jackets. Ironically enough, the weather peaked at 70 degrees in Dumbo but being on the water provided a perfect blend of warmth and wind. I was fortunate enough to contract 3 of my friends to work the piece. The photographer was Alejandro who is an absolutely talented and down to earth dude, and the then the female model was Shayna who is a freelance model which allowed for some organic and beautiful pictures. Lastly, Rich who is signed with Ford and clearly knows what hes doing. Everything went fairly smooth and I was definitely happy with the shots that were captured. The companies that we pulled product for were Double Goose an amazing brand from France that has a temporary pop up store at the Reed Annex on Orchard & Rivington. One of the owners of the brand has now become a good friend and I highly recommend checking out the brand and their blog: http://doublegoose.blogspot.com/.
I also had product from Bogner & Burton. The feature is definitely gonna be hot. It's dope these brands I reached out to were so helpful and willing to send so much $$$$ swag for just a little press. Silly.

Vibe witchu

So back in the day my girls and I stumbled across this bizzare and outlandish interactive webisode site called TheRomp.com
The entire premise was about being able to get Jake laid. Appropriately titled the series was called:Immediately after seeing what TheRompDotCom was all about, we found it to be pure entertainment. Jake's character was outspoken, narcissistic, and overall just a douchebag looking to get as much ass as possible. And editorial credit must be given to the fact, this dude, was way ahead of his mack game; the site was around in 2002/2003. The other day I was some reason searching the depths of the internet when I stumbled across the facebook fanpage for the now deceased Romp.com; you can still however play the game and try your luck at decision making for Jake @ http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/pages/The-Romp/84957714104?ref=ts It's a garaunteed good time. Enjoy!

Cuidad de Dios

Been crazy busy with work. Friday we had a photo shoot for Vain Style with ANTM Cycle 10 winner Whitney Thompson. She was a doll to work with, super humble and driven. Always a good quality to possess being young and in the industry.
Then I had a meeting with the girls from 21-7magazine.com (the new illest online tastemaker magazine out there, dur) for the past month or so I had been working as their intern just helping out doing freelance work such as promoting and gathering things that I thought would be perfect for the site, but they decided to scratch that title and make me the official director of marketing (whatever that means these days) haha I'm honored though and definitely looking forward to helping work hard to push our work out to the masses.

*like that many people

-Its amazing being able to work in NYC. It truly is the greatest city in the world. And not only that but its filled with such beautifully creative and talented people. I am constantly meeting new driven individuals on a daily basis who all have this immense passion for life that can only bring them success later on in life. Oh and the Yankees won the world series again? Get some, nba all day-
